On a Global Stage: Oklahoma Contemporary

Two elite international awards competitions celebrate the very best in contemporary architecture and design around the world. And both put Oklahoma and Rand Elliott Architect’s client, Oklahoma Contemporary, in the limelight.

First, in August, World Architecture News in London announced Finalists for WAN 2020, its annual international awards competition.

As one of seven Finalists in the Civic category, Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center by Rand Elliott Architects was the category’s lone Finalist in North America. Other Finalists include the He Art Museum in China by Japan’s master architect, Tadao Ando.

WAN Awards 2020 winners will be announced at a digital awards ceremony November 17-19.

In October, BLUEPRINT, the celebrated global architectural magazine, announced its finalists for the BLUEPRINT Awards 2020. The competition focuses on recognizing the outstanding works of innovative, visionary and imaginative architects worldwide.
