The Bank of Oklahoma had acquired an existing bank which was a building much larger than they needed. Housed in a facility of 36,000 square feet, they were using only 6,000 square feet of that space.
This firm was contracted to design a new facility which would bring together five key program requirements and goals.
1) Create a low maintenance, energy efficient building.
2) Make a visible commitment to the community.
3) Create an image of being progressive, yet solid and trustworthy.
4) design a facility that felt larger than its actual size, for those customers who equate size with bank stability.
5) To take advantage of the corner site and create a new landmark in the community.
